The 1890 Adventure
Aunt Arabella, a seasoned time traveler, pays a visit to your daughter and
her guests. After chatting about the people she's seen and places she's been,
she invites the children to accompany her on a trip back
to the era when Coca-cola was a headache medicine, and people had telephones but
no telephone numbers. With one step they are in 1890, just in time for tea.
A lively conversation ensues as the children nibble on treats and explore such
topics as Victorian Childrens' fashion, fan language, games/sports and hygiene.
With a display that includes an antique doll, inkwell, ice skates, clothing, etc.
and scripts that are geared to a variety of age groups, this event tickles
young imaginations while offering a glimpse into the child of yesteryear.
